YouTube Title Generator
Enter a keyword, pick a country, get title ideas
What the YouTube Title Generator does
Type a keyword, choose a country, click Generate, and the tool gives you title ideas for a video on that topic. It will not write the final title for you, and it can't know what is in your video. What it does is give you a list to start from, so you are not staring at a blank box.

How to use it
- Type the main keyword of your video in the box above, for example "sourdough starter".
- Choose a country. The United States is selected by default, so change it if most of your viewers live somewhere else.
- Click Generate. Sample loads an example so you can see how the tool works, and Reset clears the form.
- Read the ideas, pick the one closest to your video, and rewrite it in your own words.
- Paste your final title into the Title box in YouTube Studio.
How to write a good YouTube title
A generated idea is only a starting point. Before you use one, check it against a few simple rules.
- Put the phrase a viewer would search for near the start of the title.
- Say what the video delivers. "How to feed a sourdough starter" tells people more than "Bread tutorial".
- Use a number only if it is true. "5 mistakes" should mean five mistakes.
- Don't promise what the video doesn't show. A misleading title costs you viewers, and it can break YouTube's rules on deceptive practices.
- Read the title on its own. If you wouldn't click it, change it.
Three title patterns you can reuse
For a video about sourdough, each of these would work:
- A how-to: "How to Feed a Sourdough Starter (Simple Daily Routine)"
- A list: "5 Sourdough Starter Mistakes Beginners Make"
- A question: "Why Is My Sourdough Starter Not Rising?"
Use the pattern that matches what your video really is. A tutorial gets a how-to title. A video that answers one problem gets the question.
How long can a YouTube title be?
YouTube's help page sets the limit at 100 characters. Search results and phone screens often cut a title off earlier, at roughly 60 to 70 characters, so keep the important words at the front and don't try to fill all 100.
Can you change a YouTube title after uploading?
Yes. Open the video in YouTube Studio, edit the title, and save. If a video is not getting clicks, try a clearer title and give it a few days before you judge the result.

FAQ
How do I make a good title for a YouTube video?
Start with the phrase people search for, say clearly what the video shows, and keep it short enough to read in full. Generate a few ideas with the tool above, then pick one and rewrite it.
How many characters can a YouTube title have?
100. Aim for around 60 to 70 so the whole title shows in search results and on phones.
Should the keyword be at the start of the title?
It helps, because viewers scan the first words and long titles get cut off. But the title still has to read naturally, so don't force it.
Do I have to use the titles exactly as generated?
No. Treat them as ideas. Change the wording so it fits your video and your voice.
Is the tool free?
Yes, it is free.
