YouTube Channel Search
Search for a channel by name and country
What the YouTube Channel Search tool does
Type a channel name, choose a country, click Search, and the tool lists YouTube channels that match. It helps when you only remember part of a name, when you want to see channels with similar names, or when you want to start from a particular country.

How to use it
- Type the name of the channel in the box, or the part of it you remember.
- Choose a country. The United States is selected by default, so change it if the channel is based somewhere else.
- Click Search. Sample loads an example so you can see how the tool works, and Reset clears the form.
- Look through the result and open the channel you want.
How to find a YouTube channel by name without a tool
- Search for the name on YouTube, then open Filters and set Type to Channels. After YouTube's January 2026 filter update, that menu lists Videos, Channels, Playlists, Movies and Shorts, so only channels will show.
- Check the spelling. A small typo can send you to unrelated results.
- Try other words. If you are looking for a food channel, search "recipe", "kitchen" or "chef" as well as "cooking".
- If YouTube can't find it, search the name on Google and add the word YouTube.
How to find small YouTube channels
Big channels crowd the top of most searches, so small ones need a different approach.
- Use specific phrases. A narrow topic like "restoring old film cameras" brings up smaller channels than "cameras".
- Read the comments under videos in your niche. Commenters often run channels of their own.
- Watch collaborations. Creators often feature smaller creators in their videos.
- Use the Upload date filter, which still offers Today, This Week, This Month and This Year, to surface newer videos and the channels behind them.
Before you follow, collaborate with or learn from a channel, check three things: when it last uploaded, how many views its recent videos get, and whether its comments look real.
Found the channel? Get its ID
Some tools and forms ask for a channel's ID instead of its name. Once you have found the channel, the YouTube Channel ID Finder gives you the ID.
